When i first started my career in staffing as a “lowly” entry-level proposal writer, I worked long hours and found great satisfaction in developing strong relationships with my stakeholders.  Without a doubt, my favorite “customer” was Jamiel.

Given my non-producing role, I was not eligible for COMSYS/Tapfin President’s club. However, one year Jamiel was unable to make the trip and insisted that his spot be given to me.  At that time in my life, this was a HUGE deal.  It meant the world to me as did the idea that Jamiel recognized me as being worthy of joining the rest of the attendees there.

I loved Jamiel – for a long list of reasons – and I always will.

I’d say “Rest in Peace, Jamiel”, but this is more appropriate:
