Words seem so inadequate to capture this man’s life and his effect on so many.  A personality and heart larger than life and a bear hug to match, he was at first – formidable, but it took only a minute to see the teddy bear inside.  I am sure every one of us can remember first meeting Jamiel.

Jamiel Saliba is what you get when you live life with conviction and passion and aren’t afraid to say what you think.  A soldier to the end in living his duty – how can he not inspire the rest of us to pick up where he left off and “soldier on”?  He was one in a million and I am so happy I had the good fortune of working with him. Had sad this life will be without his light.  God keep his family and friends close – his memory will live on in everyone he touched.
